YOUR REF.
OUR REF. W/C.167
16th July, 1923.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for yours of the 13th inst. HFCJ/T. addressed for the attention of the writer, enclosing the output curve of the 20 H.P. car dynamo. We are submitting this to our Works and will let you know their report on it.

According to this curve if 1 1/2 amperes be deducted that would mean that the charging current never exceeded 9 amperes, but the writer yesterday had a good trip on a 20 h.p. car, No. 42 - G3 and the ammeter several times indicated 11 to 12 amperes, which was presumably the nett amount going into the battery.

We will communicate with you further when we have had a report from our Works.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.

C.R.N. Minchin
