Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. G.R.N.Minchin.

We have received your letter of the 16th inst re battery cell to cell connections.

As you probably know, both Mr. Bailey and my self have all along favoured the bolted connections of the batteries, and have never seen any good reason for departing from them. I will, however, again refer the matter to him and see whether he would now be agreeable to such a change. Presumably you advocate it on the score of being a little cheaper to produce.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
