H1. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X1583. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL.1/MJ.3.10.30. WAKEFIELD "S" GEAR OIL. X.967. X.1583. We have handed to you one sample each of :- (1) Price's Amber 'A' Gear Oil. (2) Wakefield's 'S' Gear Oil. Will you please test these oils comparatively for viscosity at the range of temperature over which they are normally required to lubricate when in use on a car, viz: from 0°C. to 95°C. We suggest that you test them at five points over this range, say 0°C., 25°C., 50°C., 75°C., and 95°C. We should be glad of these results as early as possible. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. | ||
