It is agreed that we cut out the combined brake piece made of metal with a facing of red fibre, and replace same with a die-pressed Ferobestos piece, which we have had running experimentally for some time. The new parts are:- E.53098. Ferobestos pad. E.53099. New spring. replacing:- E.52342. Fibre Facing. E.52344. Block. E.52345. Spring. We should press for delivery of these as much as possible, and immediately they are available we should utilise them, and scrap existing parts to arrive at this end quickly. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
