Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Field. With reference to the anti squeaking brake lining material with which you have supplied us. So far, the results we have obtained in our experiments are encouraging. We would therefore like you to supply us with 3 complete sets of oil impregnated Ferodo bonded asbestos for the 20 HP. and 40/50 HP. This will enable us to get a reliable result of the quality of this material more rapidly. We should like to know whether you will consider this as an experimental test on your behalf, or whether you would like us to send through an order for the additional quantity. We are sending you another 40/50 HP. Clutch plate. We should like you to face this plate with oil impregnated material in the same manner as the 2 we have already received.
