I have been examining a dozen distribution boards where the points had been made to give a rubbing movement when the cut out armature was depressed. What we are doing seems to be of little use as the "pull" of the magnet does not seem strong enough to depress the spring enough to cause any "rubbing," & even if it did at first, after a while in use it seems to "stick." We can of course make them to rub when pulled down with the finger but cannot guarantee they will stop like this. The job, to me, seems very unsatisfactory as far as obtaining your recent requirements are concerned.
