Messrs. Ley's Malleable Castings Co.Ltd.,
Derby.

For the attention of Mr. Lawsonhill.

Dear Sirs,

We enclose herewith a drawing of a brake drum which we think you might be able to cost. We send it this evening at your special request. We have not yet laid out a drawing of our wheel with this drum in position, as you will see we have not prepared the drawing.

Will you kindly examine it and return it to us, telling us if this type of drum would suit you if so, we will prepare a drawing that would definitely go on our cars, and ask you to quote on that basis.

Please note that this is the only copy we have of this drawing and that we want it back.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
