We also confirm Mr.West's telephone call this morning (Wednesday) stating that the 'phoned instructions as to revs. per mile being 797 are correct and we have worked to this figure, and are despatching this instrument to you, hoping to catch the 12.25 p.m. train from St.Pancras. We confirm also your remarks re speedometer No.G. 227 on which you state the needle was broken, also your remarks regarding trip spindle. We are looking into both these items immediately and will report further progress. Always at your service.
