For the attention of Mr.H.R.Buckland.

Dear Sirs,

Upon checking the special speedometer which we ordered from you recently on the telephone we find that the revs per mile figure is approximately correct, but the scale reading is not 5% fast as we requested. Up to 60 miles per hour it is slightly slow and reading 2% fast at full scale.

We are arranging to make this right ourselves but we thought that you would like to know the results of our tests.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
