J. Lidsey} REPORT ON SPARKING PLUG TESTS. Further to my report on 28.5.32., the earth point was refitted to the magneto and the safety gap set at 10 m.m. instead of the specified 8 1/2 m.m. Slight misfiring occurred, and the gap was increased to 11 m.m. This cured all misfiring. All sparking plugs were again tested with this magneto setting with the following results :- Lodge X.288 - Misfires picking up, slow running O.K. Lodge CH.3. .025" gap O.K. No misfires. K.L.G. K.I. " O.K. No misfires. K.L.G. K.S.5. " O.K. No misfires. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.H.Whyman. | ||
