JOHN SUMMERS & SONS, LIMITED, SHOTTON, CONTINUANCE No. 1.

Messrs. Park Ward have done a good many things that they ought not to have done, besides cracking the wind screen. They have also left undone a number of things which were on the list for attention.

I am sorry that I am a little vague about the behaviour of the cross member, but it is rather hard to get things in the correct perspective when you are definitely looking for signs and symptoms all the time. Perhaps when I have lived with it for a little time longer I shall be able to give you a more definite report on its behaviour. Anyway, I am much obliged to you for your kind efforts on my behalf. Anything I can do to assist you to improve the product, you know I am only too anxious to do, in spite of some of my light-hearted remarks! Incidentally, the worst feature of the car, and of all others I know, is the dither on the gear lever, which - in the words of Rolls-Royce - is the subject of experimental research!

Yours sincerely,

[Signature: Richard.]
