Hollingworth} requested that the specification should be reviewed and we were to inform him. when we were in a position to accept the car. No.2. Fitted in 7.B.V.Chassis. No.3. Fitted in 1.B.50.Chassis. No.4. Fitted in 9.B.V.Chassis. No.5. Fitted in 14.B.V. at Coachbuilders to be finally fitted in 12.B.V. No.7. Removed from 8.B.V. after 50,000 miles test now stripped for 100% inspection and report. Specification required from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} for rebuild. Wraith Units: No.1 On test for general development. No.2. On test fitted with Supercharger. No.4. In shop for modification We are incorporating the following;- (1) Split Skirt pistons. (2) Conn.Rods with Vandervell bearings. (3) Double Valve Springs to No.4.5. and 6 Cylinders. No.5. On test fitted to 28.G.VI. continued. | ||
