Stabilisateur Socetin.

With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/LG14.8.28 do I understand that you would rather not carry out the test with the parts coming over from Belgium for the purpose, in view of your past experience of such devices and the fact that R.{Sir Henry Royce} is ultimately aiming at individual wheel suspension - because I have been to considerable trouble to get these parts available for us. They were previously going to another firm of engineers, and I understand there is not a second set of parts. These should arrive in England to-day.

Further, I think that as any ultimate or individual wheel suspension is likely to be a considerable time ahead we might be wise in carrying to the extreme limit any method of xxxxxxxx improving our springing control in connection with present methods.
