OUR REF. AHG/MJ SALES OFFICE: 83, PALL MALL, LONDON, S.W.1. 30th June 1925. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., 14 Conduit Street, W. 1. Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. HIERS. We confirm the visit of our Consulting Engineer Mr. Straussler at your Works last week and the sample of our Major Duplex "Ghost" Silencer left with you on his visit. We shall be very glad if you could take an early opportunity of trying out this silencer on your 20 h.p. and your Silver Ghost, and of course your Phantom. Mr. Straussler recommends that you would leave on your first silencer and fit the "Ghost" immediately behind that, thus replacing the larger silencer. We would like to add that we shall be only too pleased to adapt or alter our silencer in any way that you might wish to suit your requirements if you do not find our present construction suitable, provided of course, that you accept the principle of our method of silencing. We should appreciate it very much if you would let us know what success you achieve, and we shall be only too pleased to furnish further models for your consideration should you so desire it. Yours faithfully, THE INTERNATIONAL SILENCER CO. LTD SALES MANAGER. | ||
