BENSPORT. ---------- Referring to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M.19.5.32. and DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/ M.19.5.32. we do not propose on the Bensport car to use makeshift parts. If a new front axle is called for, we shall go ahead and produce that, but in saying this we would press the point that we should try and keep as many parts as possible similar on Bensport and Peregrine. It seems to me that if the Peregrine axle is so nearly similar that it might be used for the first Bensport, that we ought to consider whether the making of new dies can be avoided entirely and Peregrine axle used for both types.
