I think your latest suggestion is the best - i.e. all gends looking one way, both in the exhaust & inlet. For instance, if the inlets all look forward, the exhausts all look outward, and vice versa.

We think it would be better to swallow the want of looking (that symmetry) for the sake of the pipe, and one believes the best cooling of the whole head.

I also agree that the open type head would be better for this small engine at least.

I am inclined to think that J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} S. should be treated similarly.

I would have spoken to you myself over the telephone but have gone to 'Canada' to pig. Forward the sea of work which is pressing, (both the Central charge Bensport, and the L.H. J.S.). These will want somewhat similar treatment as regards the Borer mechanism.

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} S. is standing still for Bensport, but the latter will be finished I think this week.
