Re 15-EX

Referring to our Hk{Col. T. Harker - Sales}15/Dn/AW. of even date, Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} has just telephoned from Amiens to the effect that he is doing what he can to assist from every point of view.

Unfortunately, he states that poor Butler has been injured very badly, and the doctors are surprised that he survived the accident at all, but they say that as long as there is life, there is hope, and everything possible is being done for him. His father is arriving tonight probably, and Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} is stopping on to help him in any way and see what can be done for his son.

Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} furthermore requested me to tell you that the car, which is in two parts, is stored in two separate garages, and that he will see to the transport of the parts to Paris where they will be placed in our garage under a tarpaulin, awaiting your instructions respecting their despatch to the Works. As soon as Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} gets a little time, he will no doubt let you have a detailed report concerning the accident and any other information of interest.

As regards CWB., he is apparently unhurt but very badly shaken.

Hk{Col. T. Harker - Sales}/Dn, h/h
