Bentley Shock Absorbers.

Referring to your memo Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E.13.3.34, we are putting in hand schemes for incorporating the RR. form of controllable shock damper on the Bentley so that this can be got on the 10,000 miles test car and introduced on 'C' series.

The proposal to control these by the lever on the steering column at present used for the lamp dimming device and introducing a foot switch for dealing with the lamps appears to be excellent from every point of view.

We have a scheme in hand for such a foot switch.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
