Rolls-Royce Ltd, Nightingale Rd, DERBY. Dear Sirs, Special Tyres on Experimental Car. We are much obliged for yours of the 18th inst., Ref.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW1/LG18.12.20., and we quite appreciate of course that the weather conditions have been somewhat unsuitable for tyre tests you have in hand. However, as of course the matter is very urgent, and as we cannot make our mould modifications until you have been able to satisfy yourselves on the question of noise, we hope to hear something from you at the earliest convenient opportunity. We shall certainly be glad to let you have two further tyres for the purpose of completely equipping the car, and if you will be good enough to send it round here to-morrow morning asking the driver to report to Mr. Hyde, Fort Dunlop, the matter will have our prompt attention. We understand this will be convenient for you unless you advise us by to-nights post. Yours faithfully, THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO: LTD: W. Bond. For DEVELOPMENT SUPT. | ||
