Dear Mr. Aspin,

Thank you for your letter of 6th. April. The information contained therein was most useful.

I would still like the valve area over piston area figure at the earliest possible moment.

I am at the moment engaged in summarising the qualities of the Aspin engine compared with our own products, from the information you have given me, so that our people can get a clear idea as to the amount of money they are prepared to spend on the development of the rotary valve.

It has, however, already been agreed that we shall complete one of our single cylinder units, and if you will give me a day I will send one of our people over next week, with the drawings of the unit, to discuss them with you.

Yours sincerely,
