We confirm our conversation with BY/SS{S. Smith} that we wish to remove the four continuous bosses on the main suspension forging shown on N.Sch.4927, which were to be used for the attachment of the wing stay and head lamp standard. It is our intention to have the wings and lamps mounted on the radiator, and these bosses would not be required for such a scheme. If, however, we revert to the wings and lamps mounted on the frame and subsequently require these bosses it would merely necessitate a modification to the die. We think it is better to leave the bosses off at this stage than to put them in, as once the die is sunk for them they would have to stay whether they are needed or not. Would you kindly arrange to have the bosses removed from the details. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
