Alternative vehicle arrangements due to the unavailability of Chassis B.50-LS for a planned visit.

| Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}..from Blb. Blb.1/WT20.11.40. 800 Chassis B.50-LS. This morning I received a note from Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} which states :- "We are now carrying out the further minor repairs found necessay after taking the car on the road, and we hope to finish our work towards the end of next week" It would appear from this that the car will not be at Derby when I pay my usual visit next Tuesday, and in view of the shortage of cars I feel I cannot ask you to let me keep 10-B.5 until the following Tuesday. I could defer my visit to Derby until later next week by which time B.50-LS should have arrived from London, or alternatively if I came on Tuesday as usual perhaps you could let me have the small car which you mentioned, for a day or two. If you will let me hear from you I will try to fit in with whatever you suggest. Blb | ||
