SWEDISH WIRE FOR VALVE SPRINGS.
-------------------------------

We have now obtained from Sweden small supplies of wire hardened and tempered in the coil for experimental work in connection with valve spring materials.

We propose hand over samples of each size of wire to the Laboratory for full examination and concurrently with this, we are making the following valve springs for running on our spring testing rig :-

(a) Kestrel Engine Valve Springs.
(b) P.III Springs of the present standard type.
(c) P.III Springs of the latest low stress type as recommended by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}

We will let you have a further report as soon as our tests are completed.
