Dear Sirs, We thank you for the last batch of valve springs which arrived on the 15th inst. You will no doubt have received the official order from our Order Office for which I instructed. Having the closely coiled at the base and normal coil springs we shall now be able to get a figure of merit for each. Also we are going to observe any difference in spring surge. Tests are being continued both on the road and the test bench and will notify you in regard to their performance after the completion of these tests.
