-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}15/JH. 2nd. December, 1938. We had recently fitted to this car the Sintered bronze you recently supplied, the facings rings being made in 6 segments each, cut from the 12" x 3" samples you supplied, and on test they appeared to behave as smoothly and silently as the 'Clevite' but unfortunately this particular car has now been disposed of, so we have at the moment no car of this old type on which to continue the experiments. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
