Special Park-Ward Body.

The outward appearance is the same as the present standardised bodies being produced by Park-Ward, but the internal construction was experimental and singularly prone to creaks, both in the scuttle and in the rear quarters. The appearance, particularly of the rear end and the shape of the luggage compartment was good and admired by the coachwork people at the Paris Depot.

The seats were comfortable but as usual, the cushion springs and padding gradually collapsed until a short man could hardly see over the steering wheel. The door catches were satisfactory and not affected by a fair amount of movement of the doors relative to the pillars.

Repeated trouble throughout the mileage was experienced with the breakage of the brackets to the rear cross member, and towards the end of the running, the body started to break away from all the wheel-arch support brackets.

The body was fairly bad for wind noises all round.
