DELCO-REMY CORPORATION ANDERSON, INDIANA February 22nd, 1934. PLEASE ADDRESS REPLY TO THE ATTENTION OF Eng. Dept. Mr. W.A. Robotham, C/o Spink Arms Hotel, Indianapolis, Indiana. Dear Mr. Robotham: We are shipping you today by parcel post one complete 667-A distributor. Upon checking our drawings we found that there were a number of improvements incorporated in the 667-C which you have, which made it impossible to replace parts, and thus secure 60 degrees firing. The circuit breaker levers in the 667-C are of a high speed type and are mechanically interchangeable with those in the 667-A, although we do not believe the speed of this latter distributor will be limited by the lever arms. Both distributors operate in a counter-clockwise rotation viewed from the drive end. We are enclosing test specification number 405 covering the Cadillac starting motor which you secured on your visit here. Very truly yours, J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} T. Fitzsimmons, Engineering Dept.
