To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to C.J. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} (X421) E1/G24.9.21. X.4405 - RE. SWALLOW. X.4217 I want the Essex cylinder head gasket to find the width of the combustion chamber. The Essex is such a beast for detonating when run on petrol only of No.1 quality that Mr. Royce thinks we may have to abandon the economical scheme that has been got out for the Swallow. and put both the valves in the head. You will remember that the arrangement of the swallow is not the same as the Essex, but the combustion chambers are of similar form. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
