To E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from ROY. {Sir Henry Royce} c. to BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Mr. Hack, of the Rudge-Whitworth Company, writes as copy attached. At one time I know you were keenly interested in having a set of Bentley wheels fitted with Aluminium Alloy rims. Is such still the case? Would you like a set made up ex Italy? If so, what size? As you are probably aware, the Rudge-Whitworth Company, Greet, are working in collaboration with High Duty Alloys Ltd, Slough on the production of rims made in R.R.Alloy, but they are not ready yet to submit sample sets, nor will they be for some few weeks.
