ADJUSTABLE PEDALS.

We send herewith N. sch. 3123. shewing adjustable pedal stems for the R.H. P.2.

It has been necessary to modify the shape of the clutch pedal lever but although it comes nearer the board at the boss in the fully worn position then at present the board is not more cut away. Should it be found impossible to ensure the clearance for the stem extension between the engine arm and the clutch case stud nut, this stem must be reduced, and the adjustment be made 1.500".

R.{Sir Henry Royce} is of the opinion that we should not rely on any key to keep the axis of the pedal stem in a vertical plane containing the lever, but that the pedal stem and plate be set by eye when making the adjustment.

While these pedals are not essential to 26-EX the continental car, we suggest that it would be a useful car to try them on if it will not delay the delivery of the chassis.
