Messrs Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY. England.

Dear Sirs,

Attention of Mr. S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls.

With reference to the alloy washer which Mr. Russell Sharp brought back for corrosion tests, we would advise that these tests are now proceeding in our Laboratory, and we hope to be able to advise you the results in the course of a few days.

We understand that the material of the washer is called "ACI" and we are wondering whether this is a new alloy and whether you are in a position to give us any information in regard to it, so that our Laboratory can keep a correct record of the tests in hand.

Yours faithfully,
VACUUM OIL COMPANY LIMITED.

Chief Engineer.
