Please receive herewith the following scheme :- F.CD.645 Front Anchorage Rear Spring. In accordance with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.3/AP.8.4.38. we have designed a threaded pin anchorage for the rear spring. The thread diameter of the pin is the same as used on Ph.lll rear shackles - see F.CD.546. It will be necessary to modify the forgings to provide room for the "Dupreme" glands. It is intended to fit threaded spring shackles on the 2nd. 100 production chassis. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
