To Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} Std. Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} AYm. FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} JSD. HC. WRAITH We have got to release a provisional specification for the Wraith car before the end of this week. So far as we know at present the only parts which are definitely unsatisfactory are - Engine mounting. Rear shock absorber connections. Fan. Starting Handle. Brake drums. The petrol system will need a high pressure pump with a piping replica of the Phantom III. The specification is not a final one, but is being produced to ensure that the Works go ahead with something. Obviously, nothing is finalised for Production until a Standardisation Sheet can be circulated for it. At the moment the Works have the excuse that they do not know what the Wraith car is going to be and cannot make any progress. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
