To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 600 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.9/AP.18.8.37 27.G.V1. The car is being put in the shop within the next day or two, in order to have a new crossmember fitted to the frame. While this car is in the Shop we wish you to carry out the following - (1) Fit Wraith fan instructed under Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.17/AP.25.6.37- with smaller of the two crankshaft pulleys-this will necessitate fitting a Wraith III. water outlet to SW.1208 to the cylinder head and to do this it will be necessary to use 2.B.A. studs and draw the holes slightly - this will be satisfactory for experimental purposes. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. will supply belt for same. (2) Fit the Wraith III. starting handle scheme to LeC.5623. (3) Make up and fit a set of experimental undersheilds to this car - Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. will indicate to the sheetmetal worker what is required.
