| Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} Do we agree with this? BY c. Sft.{Mr Swift} Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}2/HP.17.9.36. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Phantom III Relief Valve. The Works are having trouble in making the seat for the non return valve secure in the body. To overcome this we have thrown the seat away altogether, and transferred the ball to the banjo. This will make the job cheaper, and also there is no chance of the ball being removed and lost. This modification in no way affects the relief valve body. It can be fitted at any convenient time. Drawing to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} (LeC.5275).
