S/W ....Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to By/Cgh.{W Clough} (80) 6/31 x4(1) C18/C5.8.31 Re 65-GX...C.Cochrane, Esq. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/AD4.8.31 I note the best you can recommend at the present time is the standard dented tube radiator in conjunction with the louvred bonnet. Will you please prepare the necessary parts, and if you will let me know when you have them ready I will advise you whether to send them to London so that "N" can make the changeover or whether Mr.Cochrane will send the car to Derby - he might do the latter. I presume you will be fitting the part wi that prevents the water wasting; and another point is, whether it would be possible for the neck of the filler upon which we mount the "Lady" mascot to be made shorter.
