X.3199 - RE PHILBRIN BATTERY IGNITION Please find attached pamphlet dealing with the Philbrin coil ignition which I think might be of interest to you, the particular feature apparently being the rapid spring break at all speeds. I notice that the coils and distributors are of bakelite (actually Condensite) and I could, even though these coils were working practically cold on the Demonstration Stand, feel a very slight electric effect through the cases.
