Re: B.T.H. Magneto 913389 ex Type Test engine Kestrel IB. No. 20.

In reply to your memo Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/DN1/HB.{C. E. Harcombe} of the 29th. ult. relative to the above magneto, I have to advise you that this machine, which has been returned to Messrs B.T.H.Co. is to be repaired by fitting a Textolite Timing wheel.

It is not considered at the moment, however, advisable to include any other modifications, as it is desired to obtain some experience on development running with the Textolite wheel, as compared with the original gun metal wheel which failed on type test.
