of .3 to .4 chromium and .6 to .7 phosphorus, which I think you will find compares very favourably with the ordinary phosphor chrome liner material.

Regarding the treatment of a certain number of cylinder liners for fitment to your own cylinder blocks, when we have had some preliminary experience on our own equipment at the Works I will communicate with you and we can then come to some conclusion as to how many liners would be required and when you could anticipate receiving these.

Thanks for writing to the patentees with regard to the two-leading-shoe braking system; I would very much appreciate having a sight of the arrangement which you mentioned to me.
