| Contd. -3- actual press button switch was a remarkably small and cheap fitting. It was simply two carbon contacts - one fitted to a spring blade. We operated the Starter a number of times with the press button switch exposed. One could tell by the sparking that only very little current went through the switch. X.1357. X.802. An earthed wiring scheme is used on the car, the negative side of the battery being earthed completely so that the heavy current as well as the lighting was earthed Single contact bulbs are used in the lamps. Battery carried in the frame at the rear. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
