RR. 10B (500 Bks.) (SP{Mr Spinney} 132/6/51. L) MDP 197033 X. 430. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C Order No A.B. 27. Customer's No. X. 430 Nov. 5th 1921 Effect of Length of H.T. Lead on Magneto to Spark. E6. The following test was made with a Standard Watford magneto. The magneto was connected up to six spark gaps, five of which were fairly close, while the sixth was maintained at 5.5 m.m. Lengths of cable, varying by six inches, from six inches up to four feet were used, and the slowest speeds at which regular sparking for advance and retard, would occur on this gap, obtained. These operations were then repeated on a gap of opposite polarity. Signed Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
