Dear Sirs,

Re:- Long 10 C.F. Clutch.

We thank you for your letter of the 30th. ultimo and in reply thereto would advise that :-

(1) The finish of the pressure plate facing is in accordance with the standard practice adopted by the Long Manufacturing Co. Whilst this is contrary to the practice adopted by this Company, it occurred to us that you would prefer to put the clutch on trial exactly as received from America.

(2) The method of locking the release lever adjusting screws is by peening the boss into the screw driver slots provided for the purpose and this is regarded purely as manufacturers adjustment only.
