"replacing earlier models which as we know did
"not suffer at all from this trouble.
"In the quarter ending June 30th last, N. dealt
"with twelve cases and during the last two months
"they have dealt with a further 18 cases, 12 of
"which were customers' complaints and 6 policy
"jobs. It would be a great assistance to know
"that steps were being taken to design out this
"new trouble, and if this is so, whether by a
"method which can be made retrospective. We have
"one or two recurrent cases, such as that of Mrs.
"Hamilton, GSY-91 who at the moment actually held
"up an order for a Phantom II because of her dis-
"satisfaction with the "25" and fear that the
"same trouble would be present on the Phantom II."
R.{Sir Henry Royce} will consider the matter to see whether throttle edge
carburation can be applied in a fairly simple manner
retrospectively.
Minute 7.
Wireless Sets on R.R. Cars.
Oiling up of plugs.
Er. mentioned the fact that many new R.R. cars are now
being fitted up for wireless sets and the suppressors
which are fitted on the sparking plugs to prevent
interference definitely cause oiling up of the plugs.
