Accident report detailing a collision between a Goshawk chassis 4-G2 and a Citroen in France.

X4219 GS.Wa.{Mr Wallis} c. S. chassis 4-GMR. Mr. ROYCE ------------------------- Kindly note that Cl. on his way back from Lyons had an accident with chassis 4-G2 police number CH.2892-GB. On the 2nd inst., at 7.30 p.m. on the road from Saulieu to Avallon before passing Chanteau (Côte-d'Or) he was following another car which suddenly stopped to pass a level crossing. Cl. tried to stop but as the road was slippy owing to the recent rain the chassis skidded and ran against a new 10-HP Citroen arriving on the other side of the road. Both cars were damaged. Two witnesses of the accident have signed a report which is in the hands of Cl. The damage caused by this accident is as follows: Citroen 10-HP chassis No:52851 - Police No:384-W4 belonging to Mr. ROGIER, garage proprietor, 22 rue de la{L. A. Archer} Citadelle, CHALON-S-SAONE - driven by Mr. Charles MEUNIER. n/s front & rear wings damaged n/s footboard damaged GOSHAWK 4-G2 n/s rear wing and back of the body few spokes of n/s rear wheel.
