With reference to your H2/TB17/8/23 - in reply to the first paragraph of this memo, this question has been further considered since Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's memo Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 6/M26.7.23, and we attach herewith copy of a few points on this subject. Under the circumstances, in view of your memo we will again take the matter up with Dunlops, and shall be glad if for this purpose you can let us have a summary of the cases which have come to your notice (and the notice of other inspectors) of tyres coming off the rims where security bolts and bolt valves have not been employed.
