Eastern Works,
Camden Street,
BIRMINGHAM.1.
Attention Mr.Spicer.

Dear Mr. Spicer,

As requested, we are returning the sample ventilating window mechanism and frame to you, so that you may have a pair of fittings manufactured. You will undoubtedly remember that it was agreed that these fittings should have separate cover plates as it will be necessary for slots to be made in the doors to allow for sufficient clearance round the fittings. The cover plate should be 3" long, with two screw holes at each end for fixing.

Referring to your letter of May 23rd, the drawings mentioned therein have not yet come to hand. We shall be glad to receive the rear door regulator position to enable us to pass on the necessary information to Park Wards.

Regarding the striker plates. We should like the backs of these to be serrated. As soon as the drawings of these come to hand, we will let you have our comments. We should also be glad to receive the prints of the locks for the spare wheel locker.

In addition to the parts which you are making for us, there will be the headlamp fixings which will have to be die-castings, and which I think you can handle very well. Lucas are making the head lamps, at the base of which, will be a spherical seating into which the die-casting already mentioned, will have to fit. I have asked our people to obtain a dimension drawing from Lucas, of the headlamp, but as you are in close contact with Lucas, possibly you can get the necessary information yourself.
