Hanbury - Head Complaints} K7820 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/MJ.24.10.30. With reference to PN{Mr Northey}4/WT23.10.30. We have never had a case in all our 10,000 mile tests where the shock absorbers have become loose on the frame. G.W.H. reports that during his recent visit to Cricklewood he found several cases where shock absorbers were loose on the frame. He states that the general opinion is that the coachbuilders slock off the shock absorbers in order to fit their wing stays and do not tighten them up properly. Furthermore, that Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} has confirmed that the coachbuilders do interfere with the shock absorber attachments. Perhaps you will confirm this, and let us know whether it is so officially. More information on the subject will probably be circulated in G.W.H's. report. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
