Re- 40/50 h.p.Bonnet Panel Stops. We are very anxious to have the benefit of the improved design of panel stop, as soon as possible, knowing the objections firstly to the old type of stud which we are using as a temporary measure, and to the bonnet having no studs, the result being damaged paint. You showed us some time ago a design which looked very promising but merely wanted a little strengthening - that was in July. It is now two months since that came along and whilst we should have liked to have the new bonnet panel stops on the Show Cars we realise that was expecting a little too much in view of the early delivery of these chassis. Nevertheless, we should like to get this new feature introduced as quickly as possible, to avoid complaints in respect of what we have offered to the Public in the past on 40/50 h.p. cars. We should like to have some definite news now, if you can give it to us, as to when these new stops will come into production. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} LID{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
