( 2 ) v They are as quiet as present type, from what we could hear on the roads round here. The mileage of the front worn flat is 8,972 taken off, because of the heaviness in steering. The wear is equal to previous Tyres. THE 6.00 x 19" REAR. These Tyres are not quite the same as fitted to front, but seemed very good for non-skidding and quietness. The mileage is average 4,828 to all purposes same as previous Tyres. RE CRANKSHAFT DAMPER. We have dismantled the Damper to ascertain the condition. We found the usual centre plate broken in the four riveted sections. To keep running until we obtain a new plate from Paris, we have re-riveted it temporarily. ------------ G.W. Hancock G.W.H. | ||
