For the attention of Mr. Leslie Kent.

Dear Sirs,

We have completed the tests you require with the pump EX1 in the position in which it is intended to be fitted.

The pump is now fitted about 27" below the carburetter. We find the pump gives a max. head of 98" or 2.85 lbs. per sq. inch, and the following deliveries were obtained with reduced voltages and free flow at the carburetter level.

Volts Delivery.
11.7 262 pints per hour.
10 262 " " "
9 262 " " "
8 262 " " "
7 257 " " "
6 243 " " "
5 189 " " "

The following test was carried out with the car on a 1 in 3 1/2 gradient which gives an additional head of 12" over the position when on the level.
